Iran Telecommunication Industry Syndicate was established in 1377 with the aim of organizing telecommunication equipment manufacturing companies under the supervision of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.

With the development of activities and based on the ecosystem of communication and information technology, the constitution of the syndicate has changed, and now, in addition to manufacturing companies, companies active in the fields of software, technical engineering services, consultants and contractors of  ICT can also become members of the syndicate if they have the necessary conditions.
